On this Saturday 12th the Sccout County Carol Service will be held in Kentstown Church at 7pm. Scouts should wear their necker and bring an item of non-perishable food to donate to the needy. Anyone able to bring a musical instrument should do so.

Parents are welcome and must arrange their own transport. As always lifts with leaders must be by prior private arrangement.

On Friday the 18th we will hold a short ceremony in the the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Ashbourne, time TBA (probably 7pm). During this ceremony we will distribute a flame from the Bethlehem Peace light. This is a lamp that was lit in the Holy Land by a Palestinian and an Israeli Scout and then carried by land, through Europe where it's light has already been distributed far and wide. After the ceremony we will go across to the Parish Hall for a small Christmas Party. Please bring your own candle to light plus a small contribution of food for the party. Anyone with a musical instrument is welcome to bring it along.
