Hello all, to kick off the New Year, the Scouts will be doing a "Winter Camp" at Larch Hill Friday Jan. 8th to Sun. Jan 10th. We will not be camping, it's too cold this time of year, instead we will be staying in the very warm and comfortable Centenial Lodge. Places have now all been allocated based on the RSVPs we've received on the texting system.

Parents should drop scouts to Larch Hill International Scout Centre for 7.30pm on Friday 8th Jan.

Collect from same at 12pm midday on Sun 10th Jan.

Camp fee of €30 must be paid in full on Friday night.

You can use the general Summer Camp Equipment List as a guide but with a few amendments:

 - You'll only need clothes for two days

 - Scouts *must* bring their Scouting knife if they have one

 - Bathing costumes definitely not needed :-)

The programme will be laid back - there are no hikes or forced marches planned, but plenty of outdoor skills, cooking and there will certainly be ample opportunity to toast marshmallows over the fire!
