Scouts and Ventures will be doing a "four peaks" challenge this year, climbing the the highest peaks in each of the four provinces of Ireland. Scouts who complete all four will be eligible for our special four peaks award / 40 year anniversary award. The campaign kicks off with Slieve Donard this Sunday 10th April.

We plan to leave Ashbourne around 8am from the Community Centre car park to start the hike from the car park in Newcastle at 10am. Lifts offered by prior arrangement with leaders, after that it is first come first served for any remaining spaces. There is a €5 charge for this event. Weather is looking pretty mixed for Sunday and the hike will be subject to cancellation if the forecast worsens.
