Sunday 15th April, our Scout Group are running the Scout and Venture county hike. This will follow the same route as our trail-finding hike last week starting and ending in Lough Dan Scout Centre via Scarr and Kanturk. Conditions are set to be wet and windy.

We always want Scouts to have the items on the kit list but given the forecast it is essential to have a water proof jacket, warm layers, wet legs, a change of clothes (in a waterproof bag) and plastic bag for wet and muddy boots to go into on the way home.

Scouts will need to meet at the Community Centre 8am, Sunday 15th. Spaces in leaders' cars will be limited as of now it's looking like we'll be short four spaces so we advise organising a car pool to drop and collect at Lough Dan Scout Centre (directions here).
