On March 2nd we will be travelling to Larch Hill for archery lessons and a day packed with adventure skills. Parents and Guardians should drop their scouts at Larch Hill International Scouting Centre for 10am sharp on Sunday 2nd of March. Collect from same at 5pm. Cost is €12 per scout to cover the cost of the Archery lessons and materials needed to run the programme.

The programme for the day will include:

  • Archery lessons from a qualified instructor
  • Backwoods cooking
  • Fire lighting and wood craft
  • Pioneering

Scouts should bring:

  • Warm layered clothes including rain coat, wetlegs, hat and gloves
  • Neckerchief must be worn
  • A day bag
  • A packed lunch
  • Bivvy bag or some plastic sheeting to sit on
  • Any essential medications
  • Scouting knife
  • Plate, knife, fork, spoon & mug
