Time to lock and load folks, Ashbourne Scouts are going clay pigeon shooting!
The shooting is taking place at 10am on Saturday 3rd October and is only available to Ventures and Scouts who meet age (you have to be 14 and over to shoot by legislation) and other qualifications have already been informed.
The cost is €26 per person taking part. This covers the price of clays and ammunition. A total of 50 rounds each. All safety equipment eye and ear protection is supplied by the grounds as well as guns. We will be using low recoil ammunition so no one should have sore shoulders after it. Scouts can wear normal clothes jeans etc as all shooting is under cover.
There will be full safety instructions given before the shooting begins.
