Ventures will be going on a Backwoods day on Mar 5th, in Larch Hill. We will meet at 9.30am on Saturday morning 5th of March in the Community Centre. €15 / head including food, materials and activities. Transport to/from Larch Hill by prior arrangement with Venture leaders Suzie Rafter and Damian McGrath.

Dress warm and bring the following items if you have them:

• Warm hat, scarf and gloves
• Packed lunch, thermos with a hot drink, snacks
• Bivvy bag to sit on
• Wet gear including wet legs
• Pocket knife
• Survival kit
• Fire starting kit and/or lighter
