The Venture Scouts attended an information evening in the 103rd Dublin Willington Scout Den last week on the World Jamborre in Japan 2015.

A group of Japanese Rover Scouts gave a presentation on the Jamboree and on several aspects of Japanese culture, traditions and food.

The Jamboree will take place in Kirara-hama Yamaguchi City Japan from Tuesday 28th July to Saturday 8th August 2015. Scouting Ireland are sending a contingent to the jamboree and places can booked from now until the end of September.

Total cost for the Jamboree is €3500. While this is a huge cost, it covers everything you will need for the 3 week duration of the expedition including accommodation, transport, activities, food and the contingent uniform.
