6th Meath Leaders and Venture Scouts @ Mountain Moot 2014, Knockmealdown Mtns

Cubs and Scouts will be on Easter Camp April 10th-12th. We will meet at the Community Centre at 2.15pm sharp on Friday 10th. If you have not yet returned the consent form then you can hand them in then. Leaders will have additional blank forms on the day.

From there a coach will take our Scouts to Mt. Melleray Scout Centre in Co. Waterford. The program for camp will be fun and varied and includes a hike on the wild Knockmealdown mountains. Proper equipment is essential for this hike as much of it will be across trackless mountainside. As such Scouts may be excluded from the activity (or indeed the camp) on safety grounds if they don't have a pair of strong walking shoes (not trainers or wellies) and proper wet gear.
